Black Pure Handloom Balaramapuram Kasavu Double Mundu with Woven Gold Kasavu Border

A pure handloom double mundu from Balaramapuram in a deep black, set off by a gold kasavu band with woven pattern. A coloured mundu with kasavu makes a confident change from the traditional off-white while keeping its Kerala character.

Balaramapuram, near Thiruvananthapuram, is known for its fine handloom cotton and kasavu weaving. Made as a double mundu, it gives a fuller drape and holds its shape through the day, making it a natural choice for Onam, Vishu, weddings, temple visits and family functions.
